Your contribution:
* You will design scalable and powerful database architectures that meet the requirements of our application and support business growth.
* You create and maintain database models, schemas, and data flow diagrams to map our data structure and its relationships.
* Improve database performance through techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
* You will work closely with different teams to capture requirements and implement feasible database solutions.
* In addition to that, you will also be responsible for guiding and training junior database architects and administrators.
What you bring along:
* Demonstrable experience as a database architect or similar role, including a strong portfolio of projects in database design and implementation.
* A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; a master’s degree is desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of common database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases; profound experience with cloud database services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database is a plus.
* Excellent proficiency in English and fluency in German.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities to evolving technologies.
