This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany. AND EXTERNAL Local National Applicants, who reside in Germany. Hauptaufgaben Maintains a list of barracks needed to billet students. Creates and modifies spreadsheets that capture a wide variety of information and data critical in determining room availability for incoming students. Prepares preliminary room assignments based on projected course reservations Follows up to ensure student check-in and tracks bed usage. Provides spreadsheet information to branch contracting and procurement section for payment. Compiles different spreadsheets to input student arrival and billeting. Makes manual inputs for each student name substitution and completes the weekly billeting data. Generates weekly report that accurately summarizes the number of classes starting, continuing and the number of students attending and their billeting status (preparation of training slides). These reports are distributed to the office of the G3 and to the 7th ATC Commander as part of the weekly activities report. Operates the ATRRS training database portal to download US and foreign military training projections. Verifies the data for accuracy and compares with other reporting sections within the branch. Coordinates with G-3 IMT for multinational student course attendance and prepares weekly spreadsheets that identify foreign student attendance. Updates the remaining course list and spreadsheet to reflect changes in class dates, locations and cancellations. Submits this report to the supervisor who reports to the department chief. Assists units and training NCOs with training requests, scheduling and trouble-shooting in the ATRRS training database. Manages the Annual Training Calendar, which entails analyzing data provided by the CATC Registrar concerning the number of courses to be scheduled, student billeting statistics, and other factors that may affect CATC's ability to schedule and accomplish training, and ensuring that all courses can be fully executed without interruption by Federal holidays and that total courses scheduled in each week will not exceed CATC's ability to house students and execute training. Manages the Student Processing Center (Student Detachment) reception desk when required. Processes incoming students, briefs students on billeting assignment, school policy and class reporting times. Receives and brief visitors, screen telephone calls, and reviews incoming email in order to direct to supervisor and staff members only those contacts requiring their attention or action. Takes care of routine office matters on the basis of knowledge of administrative procedures, programs or operation, refers other inquiries to appropriate personnel. Provides information in response to routine and non-technical request for student information, applying general knowledge of function and mission or referring to information readily available from activity files and records. Performs other duties as assigned.
