Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty Team starting this summer semester 2025, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students.
The teaching load comprises two modules, which should be held over two semesters via online. Each module has a workload of 6 SWS (4,5 hours per week) over 16 weeks. Teaching language is English.

To become a freelance lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world.
The teaching content is about:
Module 1:Corporate Governance and Ethics
* The scope of governance, agency relationships and theories, and the Board of Directors
* Structure of Board Committees, Directors’ Remuneration and different approaches to Corporate Governance
* Internal Control and Review: Management Control Systems in Corporate Governance; Internal Control, Audit and Compliance in Corporate Governance and Internal Control and Reporting; Management Information in Audit and Internal Control
* Risk and the Risk Management Process and categories of risk
* Identification, assessment and measurement of risk
* Targeting and monitoring risk and methods of controlling and reducing risks
* Risk Avoidance, Retention and Modelling
* Professional Values and Ethics: Ethical theories and different approaches to Ethics and Social Responsibility; Professions and the public interest and professional practice and Codes of Ethics; Conflicts of interest and the consequences of unethical behaviour and ethical characteristics of professionalism
Modul 2: Enterprise Risk Management
* Mastering Risk to Create Value: Mastering Risk to Create Value; What is an Enterprise-Wide Approach?
* Risk Management Goals, Objectives and Oversight: Assessing risks and developing strategies and processes
* Infrastructure Essentials: Designing and Implementing Risk Management Capabilities and continuously improve risk strategies, processes and measures
Additional tasks:
* Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievement

* Relevant professional experience
* Graduation with a Master degree at least
* Completed relevant university studies
* Teaching experience at universities
