Job Title: SAP HCM Payroll Specialist
Location: Ulm, Germany
Work Mode: Hybrid, 2 days/week onsite
Experience Required: 10-12+ years of SAP HCM/Payroll expertise
Responsibilities:
* Functional Support:
* Provide comprehensive functional support for SAP HCM and Germany Payroll modules.
* Ensure system customizing aligns with German tax and regulatory requirements.
* Payroll Expertise:
* Leverage expert knowledge of payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules (PCR), and functions to handle region-specific payroll requirements.
* Solve complex payroll-related issues, including historical and retroactive payroll processing.
* Customization and Integration:
* Support client-specific customizations and ensure seamless integration of SAP systems.
* Analyze and resolve interface issues related to Time & Attendance, Global Financial Operations (GFO), benefits handling, and SuccessFactors.
* Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge:
* Stay updated on Germany’s tax submissions, social security, labor union contributions, and tax reconciliation requirements.
* System Management:
* Perform HRSP installations and maintain year-end processes.
* Extract and manage data for audit, reporting, and compliance purposes.
* Cross-Functional Support:
* Ensure smooth HR and Finance integration for payroll postings, tax submissions, and accounting processes.
* Collaborate on EMEA Swift and EY program customizations.
* Proactive Contribution:
* Actively contribute to support organizations by solving high-pressure issues professionally and efficiently.
* Customer Focus:
* Deliver high-quality support with troubleshooting expertise and attention to customer satisfaction.
Skills and Expertise:
* Proficient in SAP ECC configuration and administration with a proven history of solving complex HR/PY module issues.
* In-depth understanding of payroll objects, functionality, tables, and relationships.
* Expertise in the following areas:
* Payroll processing: pay structures, off-cycle payroll, year-end activities, and payslip generation.
* Incentives: company bonuses, pensions, and garnishments.
* Social security, health insurance, labor union contributions, and pension fund management.
* Experience with Positive Time Management and T&A system interfaces.
* Familiarity with SuccessFactors integration and HRSP installations.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to manage client-specific requirements and adapt to high-pressure situations.
Language Requirements:
* Fluency in German at C1 level is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in application end-user support.
* Proven ability to analyze and solve intricate payroll interface issues.
* Knowledge of EY program extractions and EMEA Swift processes.
