Description Aperam Sourcing is a Buy & Sell company, assuring the Raw Material supply for Aperam’s production sites The Raw Material Sustainability Manager monitors and develops supplier quality, sustainability, risk management and supplier performance management in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. This role includes participating in supplier performance assessments and risk management activities, such as supplier audits, and leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to optimize sustainable strategic and operational decision-making. This role aims to increase productivity and reduce risks in global raw material procurement Responsibilities Individual accountabilities Support development, standardization and execution of Aperam supplier qualification/evaluation/approval criteria Support development, visualization and execution of Supplier Quality, Sustainability and Risk Management processes Participation and facilitation of supplier performance and risk management measures incl. supplier auditing, qualification, certification Establishing and maintaining the supplier evaluation and performance measurement tool/system / SRM-System Develop and lead procedures for monitoring, evaluating, reporting and escalating ESG risks Prepare and maintain reports on supplier performance, risks and issues Prepare and maintain reports on product risks and traceability Provide deep insight into supplier performance including analysis of key metrics, reporting of risk data and integration of supplemental supplier information Support in the preparation and organization of audits and certifications Support in defining and implementing corrective actions and monitoring their progress Extract data from all IT systems, perform analysis, data modeling and reporting globally across all Aperam units and systems Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Finance and economics or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred 2-5 years of work experience, preferrably in a company with a mature procurement function / manufacturing organisation Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines Proficiency in data analysis and sustainability reporting tools Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and standards. Proficient user of MS Office (or Google products) Languages: German and English (fluent), additional languages are an asset (French, Spanish, Portuguese)
