Job Description: We are looking for a Cultural Adaptation and Relocation Support Specialist to help individuals and families navigate and adapt to the host nation community. The ideal candidate will have experience in family service programs or German tourism, strong cultural knowledge, and proficiency in conducting briefings and training sessions. Location: Wiesbaden, Germany Key Responsibilities: Provide orientation, information, and guidance to individuals and families on adjusting to the host nation community. Leverage knowledge of German customs and culture to support cultural adaptation initiatives. Conduct briefings, training sessions, and presentations on cultural awareness for the USAG Wiesbaden community. Provide unofficial translation services as needed. Prepare formal and informal correspondence, memorandums, reports, and data collection. Develop and implement lesson plans for training sessions. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of work or volunteer experience in Family Service Programs or German tourism within the past two (2) years, focusing on community orientation and adaptation. Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and German (Level 3 proficiency or higher per BILC STANAG 6001 Edition 5). Training & Communication Skills: At least one (1) year of experience in conducting briefings, preparing reports, drafting formal and informal correspondence, and developing training materials.
