Your scope of responsibility
* Within our so-called "Industry Management", you act as a Director and leader for the Segment Hotels (Full Service & Limited Service Hotels) and will develop RATIONAL's global market position in the entire Retail segment.
* Establish senior business relationships and new business strategies with Key Account customers.
* Deliver value in project-related Sales Business or Consultancy to customers/peers worldwide.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare proposals following the practices of RATIONAL to meet the client’s demands and objectives.
* Act as the “Voice Of The Segment” and provide segment trends and requirements to the RATIONAL organization.
* Coordinate and implement sales and marketing activities valid for the entire segment, such as webinars and segment-specific events.
* Drive and develop the segment by KPI (KA customer/segment growth, sales, etc.).
* Participate in exhibitions and trade shows.
Qualifications include
* Senior level, with more than 10 years of sales experience.
* Proven track record in successful selling as well as experience in dealing with international medium-sized and/or large accounts.
* Significant experience in the Hotel segment and real kitchen experiences (processes or chef).
* Passionate about food and cooking.
* Strong selling and networking skills paired with the ability to convince others, as well as a keen understanding of the customer’s needs.
* Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working with outstanding team skills.
* Experienced in using MS Office and the CRM system “Salesforce”.
* Excellent English language skills; other languages are advantageous.
* Travel frequency for the company is about 50% international traveling.
