At our R&D technology center in Alzenau near Frankfurt am Main, we develop vacuum coating equipment and diverse processes for a wide range of applications.
This role requires a unique combination of physical security, contract compliance, investigations, and project management skills to help protect our most valuable IP and new products. Therefore, you have to implement and validate compliance across all Applied Materials business units and investigate all reports of misconduct, theft, or any other report requiring documentation.
Your key responsibilities as a Manager - Asset Protection and Investigations:
1. Investigate and report on all security related investigations, including theft, employee misconduct, and delegate reports to local security teams as needed.
2. Produce reports based on audits, site walks, that detail current conditions, improvements, and ability to present these reports at a leadership/executive level.
3. Provide training that builds security awareness focused on protecting critical assets.
4. Assess risk and provide mitigation steps that align with business objectives and enable business productivity.
5. Ensure compliance to contractual security obligations.
Your education and experience
6. A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
7. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the security domain.
8. Experience in physical security program management, Intellectual Property Protection and Supply Chain Security.
9. Strong and effective communication and presentation skills to cross-functional teams as well as documenting investigations and interview techniques.
10. Knowledge and aptitude of automated / integrated security systems and concepts.
11. Use of reporting tools like “Resolver” and design drawing apps like BlueBeam.
12. Working knowledge of legal contracts, budgeting, and key terms.
13. Independent working style, service-oriented/customer-driven approach.
14. Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
15. Willingness for international business trips, headquarter is in the US (approx. 20%)
