Primary Purpose
This position is accountable for the direct sales of Big Trucks (>8t) and for the BT sales development of dealer BT sales for a specific territory / number of dealers. This position will be expected to be involved and lead the dealers sales activity and direct sales in the Ports & Terminals industry sector, as well as the industrial industries (wood, steel, heavy construction), in order to achieve industry strategy execution in these sectors. This Role will work closely with the dealers and target end- user accounts to close BT deals in diverse applications. The role will drive incremental sales volume and market share.
Key Accountabilities
1. Develop capabilities of the key BT dealer network in sales, service, used, rental and parts operations to penetrate their BT market.
2. Develop, lead, manage and measure the Ports & Terminals industry account development. Develop & implement account plans consistent with the Hyster positioning. Take the lead where required in direct sales to these P&T accounts where the dealer lacks the capability
3. Drive the dealer and HYG MA activities in the industrial sectors of wood, steel, heavy construction and other ‘high capacity truck’ applications, as part of an industry strategy execution plan. Develop & implement account plans consistent with the Hyster positioning. Take the lead where required in direct sales to these industrial accounts where the dealer lacks the capability.
4. Present Hyster & Yale capabilities to major Big Truck accounts and build customer relationships to drive the sale of HYG products in collaboration with Hyster & Yale dealers.
5. Ensure all BT opportunities are recorded and managed effectively in NOVO CRM and the forecast is developed and managed daily.
Knowledge Required
6. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering degree
7. Significant relevant work experience Minimum 5 years required.
8. Experience developing sales and working through independent sales networks. Good sales and communication skills.
9. Strong internal (particularly Sales), dealer and customer relations with demonstrated ability to execute key marketing initiatives.
10. Technical knowledge Hyster and competitive product.
11. Negotiation skills and Language Skills
