* Point of contact for the CFO, the ERGO International Board of Management, the ERGO Group Board of Management, Munich Re on all matters relating to business development, and for the foreign subsidiaries on all controlling-related issues (group level)
* Analysing and commenting on international business development, coordinating the individual company comments and segment planning, taking into account IFRS 17 and IFRS 9, as well as supporting the foreign companies in the transfer and further development of reporting formats and the implementation programme
* Reviewing the performance drivers (e.g. changes in VIST and plan failures, as well as analysis of cost items) and coordinating action plans with the companies and monitoring their implementation
* Review and systematic monitoring of the cost development of the segment units, including aggregation at segment level
* Taking on special tasks, projects and ad hoc issues, preparing special analyses/evaluations and decision templates
Your profile Experienced team player with analytical thinking skills
* Successfully completed studies in economics or mathematics with a focus on relevant topics (preferably with an international orientation)
* Several years of relevant professional experience in a similar position at an internationally oriented insurance company, in addition to good knowledge of the organisation, processes and workflows, as well as in-depth knowledge of ERGO's business areas/models
* Good knowledge of controlling, business analysis and planning, as well as international accounting (in particular IFRS 9 and 17) and Solvency II, analytical thinking and an understanding of numbers
* The ability to present complex issues in a comprehensible way, as well as entrepreneurial thinking and actively contributing management impulses
* Willingness to work independently, proactively and systematically, strong team spirit, quick comprehension, confident and convincing manner, high level of assertiveness and very good communication skills
* In-depth knowledge of SAP SEM BCS desired, very good knowledge of Office standard software, ideally experience with databases (SAS, TM1)
