Regional Sales Director The Regional Sales Director will plan and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve the sales objectives assigned to them. This position requires the ability to analyze current environments, create a compelling business solution, complete with detailed financial analysis, present the findings and propose specific technology recommendations to improve current business processes. The Director must possess a high degree of creativity, organizational and process development skills and have a proven track record with presenting to Senior Management. Principal Duties and Accountabilities Manage a team of high performing Channel Development Managers with external responsibilities for a specific account set. Attain targeted sales goals and performance through the effective management of this team. Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities with a specific focus on Enterprise (Storage and Servers). Develop and manage strategic plans to growth the aligned partner base on the team in a profitable and sustainable manner. Perform detailed territory and account reviews on an on-going basis include the wider teams where necessary. Ensure that an outstanding customer experience for the account set is achieved. Foster strong relationships with the key players and decision makers within the aligned partner base. Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong people management experience. Strong people manager skills with the ability to manage, drive and motivate a team. Strong selling skills with the ability to coach direct reports and develop opportunities with larger customers. Experience and strong ability to liaise with customers at an executive level - face to face. Ability to multitask/run multiple activities concurrently. Effectively handle multiple ad-hoc activities. Strong analytical skills and must be comfortable with data. Excellent attention to detail.
