LOCATION: Bremen or Augsburg, Germany TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the portfolio of projects, tasks, and incidents in the area of IT Infrastructure Manage the portfolio of IT Assets in the IT Infrastructure (commercial, technical) Provide, organize and ensure service delivery and business continuity to IGELs business departments Provide guidance and leadership to the team Work closely within IGELs management team Develop skills of individual team members Conduct hiring interviews and performance appraisals Strongly contribute to IGELs end-to-end business process optimization in collaboration with IGELs business departments Initiate, plan and deliver projects in the areas of IT Infrastructure and IT Asset Management (Infrastructure part) Recommend and advocate industry trends, best practices and future-proof architecture for IT Infrastructure Execute escalation / coordination of major incidents Manage the development of IT Management as team Involve, contract and manage external service providers based on SLAs and budgets Work closely with executive management on critical issues and organizational policies EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's / Master's degree in business informatics, computer science or comparable subject or comparable experience with conceptual strength and above-average comprehension 15 years professional experience and 10 years management responsibility Strategic ability to guide the area of IT Infrastructure within IGELs overall business context Extensive expertise in IT Infrastructure Extensive experience in ITIL and ITIL based processes, process design, system management and project execution Proven track record of in time & in budget delivery of technical transformation projects Strong communication skills, fluent oral and written English Interested?
