The Stores area creates the technical basis for efficient store processes by using the latest technologies. Our processes are increasingly moving to mobile devices to provide store associates with the most up-to-date hardware and software support. To facilitate this strategic focus, we are continually expanding our current team of experts.
Your Job
What this role looks like.
* Evaluating innovative, future-oriented technologies in our worldwide store network (focus: inventory intelligence)
* Collaborating and communicating with representatives from various ALDI SÜD national business entities to develop international concepts
* Supporting the development of globally harmonised processes in cooperation with internal and external system and IT specialists
* Independently developing alternative courses of action and recommendations
* Helping to create business cases as a basis for deciding whether to introduce new software solutions or improve existing ones
* Creating reports and presentations
* Actively participating in project-related workshops and meetings
* Working closely with the product owner and stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed specifications and user stories
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
* Degree in business administration, computer science/business informatics or comparable training
* Initial (consulting) experience in project management, ideally in an international retail environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Practical experience in requirements management and project management
* Experience working as part of an agile team
* Knowledge of techniques for capturing requirements, such as user stories and use cases
* Very good analytical and strategic skills
* Intercultural competence; good communication, moderation and presentation skills in a target-group-oriented context
* Very good English language skills
What you bring with you.
* Ideally, experience with software solutions related to retail; experience realising evaluation or implementation projects
* Basic understanding of process optimisation (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt)
* Background knowledge of/experience working with merchandise management systems
