We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Manager to join our CFO Office team at Allianz Global Investors. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Head of the CFO Office, supporting strategic priorities, financial planning, and key projects across AllianzGI.
You will help shape the CFO Office’s agenda, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and ensure alignment on the key topics that will drive AllianzGI’s business growth. The position will report directly to the Head of CFO Office.
This role will be based in Munich.
What you will do
* Support the Head of the CFO Office and the CFO on all operational and strategic activities within the CFO's remit (Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Finance - LCRF), driving key priorities forward
* Conduct research, draft briefings, and create presentations for the CFO
* Be the go-to resource for managing and overseeing the LCRF budget and FTEs, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with financial targets
* Support the coordination of the day-to-day activities and deliverables across LCRF functions, ensuring smooth execution, effective cross-functional collaboration, and the alignment of priorities
* Shape and execute the CFO’s internal and external communications strategy, in line with broader corporate objectives
* Proactively support and contribute to key strategic projects across the organisation, working closely with the Head of CFO Office and other CFO’s direct reports to ensure alignment, efficient execution, and timely delivery of critical initiatives
* Facilitate communication between the CFO Office and stakeholders across the organisation and ensure smooth cooperation across functions
* Drive operational excellence by continuously improving processes, and ensuring the CFO Office consistently delivers high-quality and efficient input
What you bring
Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
* At least 5+ years of asset management industry experience; a background in management consulting, corporate finance, or strategy is a plus
* Proven track record of having a hands-on mindset, taking ownership, driving projects to completion, and ensuring timely, efficient delivery
* Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights on financial and operational matters
* An Excellent understanding of the AllianzGI and wider Allianz organization is desirable
* Strong proficiency in MS Office
