For our Vattenfall Business Control department we are now looking for a
Working student to support Risk Management in BU Solar & Batteries in BA Wind (Berlin Office)
As a working student in our Risk Management function, you'll be immersed in the dynamic intersection of project management and financial strategy. Your role will involve analyzing and mitigating risks associated with our solar and battery projects, ensuring they remain on track and within budget. You'll gain hands-on experience with risk assessment tools, contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies, and assist in the preparation of reports for senior management.
Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like Solar and Batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our Solar and Batteries operations further.
As working student in the Risk Management Team you will have the following Key Tasks :
1. Support the risk management team in identifying project risks.
2. Assist in the development and updating of risk registers.
3. Analyze risk data and contribute to monthly risk manager reporting.
4. Participate in the creation and facilitation of risk workshops.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and track risk mitigation progress.
6. Support the daily business with close contact to the Controlling Management Team
Your profile
What we are looking for
7. German C1 or Native Speaker
8. You have in middle of your studies, at least one more year of studies remains.
9. Your are a proactive learner with a keen interest in risk management practices.
10. You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
11. You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Teams, SharePoint, Excel
12. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
We are looking for a student who wants to work and support us in a highly agile working environment. You will report to the team lead of Controlling for BU Solar & Batteries.

14. Working time: max. hours/week ( hours/week during the semester break)
