The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures and markets X-ray systems and components for elemental and structural analysis starting from the meso- over on the micro- and to the nano-scale. Currently we are looking for an Applications Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin and mainly support our portable X-ray fluorescence product line. Main Activity will focus on: Improving current XMP products and applications Developing new XMP applications Support product management and R&D during new product development of prototypes and software testing Documenting and training of sales partners ensuring best possible understanding of instruments from operation and performance side Support product management in developing practicable performance critical for production Support product management and service developing strategies for improving efficient serviceability Pre-Sales support: Prepare and analyze customer samples Create lab reports and applications notes Demonstrate the instruments and software packages to potential customers Represent BNA at trade shows, webinars, and online events Generate content for user manuals, sales collateral, and social media Create and present scientific posters and give scientific presentations After-Sales Customer support: Plan and execute advanced user training Create and update content training material Provide support for operational and technical questions related to the product line Master's Degree or PhD in Engineering, Geology, Physics or Material science Solid knowledge of X-ray spectroscopy required special, P-XRF and/or micro-XRF will be considered a plus Strong communication skills and ability to interact and influence stakeholders, both inside and outside the company Positive attitude and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel internationally up to maximum of 50 % Knowledge of related methods (Raman, NIR, XRD) is considered a plus Fluent in English (Knowledge of German language is a plus)
