Material Strategic Sourcing Manager (m/f/d)

To strengthen our Sourcing & Production division, we are looking for a Material Strategic Sourcing Manager (m/f/d).
What you can expect:
* You conduct strategic sourcing and portfolio management by implementing the Tier 2 sourcing strategy in collaboration with business owners, business leads, and Technical R&D. You optimize the supplier base and focus on high-performing, strategic partners to enhance collaboration with the Creative R&D teams.
* You develop and manage a comprehensive supplier evaluation system that integrates data from the quality, procurement, TPD, and sustainability teams. You implement an evaluation and volume matrix to prioritize key suppliers and optimize sourcing decisions. You collaborate with sustainability teams to integrate sustainability criteria into the evaluation system and support corporate goals.
* You lead the onboarding process for Tier 2 suppliers, including system validation, contract, and document commitments.
* You are responsible for leading and implementing strategies to improve the visibility and performance of Tier 2 suppliers, focusing on availability, cost, quality, and sustainability. You establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
* You conduct seasonal strategy meetings with key Tier 2 suppliers to review evaluations, performance data, and areas for improvement. You share detailed performance reports with strategic suppliers, set clear improvement goals, and align future objectives.
Your profile:
* You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Textile/Apparel Management, or a comparable qualification.
* You have at least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the textile/apparel sector.
* You work in a structured and independent manner and possess analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
* You have a high level of communication and negotiation skills.
* You are reliable and assertive.
* You work in a team- and results-oriented manner.
* You have very good English skills, both spoken and written.
* You have solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), and SAP knowledge is an advantage.
