We are looking for an energetic, committed, and customer-centric Outbound Sales Development Representative based in EMEA to join our international and tight-knit sales team at SimScale. You'll contribute to the company's growth by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for account executives and initiating the relationship between SimScale and prospective customers. You will do this primarily through outbound prospecting methods.
As a key contributor to SimScale's growth, you will book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, networking, and research to engage prospects, including C-suite executives and directors, while effectively pitching SimScale's value proposition. Through sales discovery, you will identify pain points and business needs across industries, maintaining an active sales pipeline in the CRM and driving interest through diligent follow-ups. Collaborating with Account Executives and cross-functional teams, you will refine sales processes, enhance skills, and build product and industry expertise to maximize impact and accelerate growth.
You will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels in a variety of industries and sectors. The role is based in Munich, Germany, or remote.
What we expect from you
* 2 years of experience in outbound sales (SDR, BDR, MDR) or a similar role, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue and generating qualified leads.
* A proactive, results-driven hunter mindset with a talent for engaging decision-makers and driving conversations.
* Exceptional communication and active listening skills, with the ability to lead dynamic, engaging conversations that spark curiosity.
* Proficient in driving curiosity and demand during phone conversations, creating a strong interest in our product.
* Proficient in managing and prioritizing time and resources effectively, with a structured approach to qualifying prospects and handling a high volume of outbound leads daily.
* Experience in software sales, SaaS, or subscription sales is highly desirable.
* C1 English skills; German and/or other language skills are a plus.
* You are based in the Central European Time (CET) zone.
