GMA & Apparel Lead DACH

The role:
As GMA & Apparel Lead for the DACH Region, you will be part of the Sales Team in the DACH Region and report to the Aftersales & Service Manager for the DACH Region. You will be driving all administrative aspects of GMA & Apparel and ensure adequate support is given to Area Business Development Managers as well as the Dealers in the region, and internal stakeholders. You will seek support in a collaborative fashion with the wider direct and indirect teams and channel partners. The primary areas of this role will focus on sales / merchandising / stocking / reporting / sales administration / process development and managing existing programs. You will also be supporting the development of key strategic initiatives for the region which will play a crucial role in developing the wider business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Work closely with all dealers and each Area Business Development Manager to maximise sales, build & drive retail capability of GMA & Apparel
* Through training, education and developing sales campaigns and initiatives develop ‘best in class’ dealer network for sales of GMA & Apparel
* Providing first line support to internal stakeholders & business partners by resolving issues and answering general enquiries.
* Work with the Business Intelligence Analyst to build and maintain a reporting suite for GMA and Apparel, such as sales performance vs targets, by dealer.
* Champion data integrity and provide RE teams with business insight, improving GMA & Apparel knowledge to support decision making across the business.
* Cascade reporting on a regular basis to all levels of the business
* Maintain sales records and provide a clear picture of orders, dispatch dates, backorders etc. Continually build product knowledge and develop country-wide sales and profitability in GMA & Apparel
* Work with the marketing department to review digital tools and platforms to ensure that the GMA & Apparel presence is correctly positioned and maintained for RE DACH and the dealer network Working with operational and logistics teams to ensure that we have up-to-date information and that this is shared with our dealer partners, to allow timely planning.
* Benchmark the best practices in the GMA & Apparel business and propose opportunities for business improvement.
* You will focus on the quality of the dealer network and delivering customer experience through them; expand the availability and visibility of the full range of Royal Enfield GMA & Apparel products.
* In addition the role provides the opportunity to become involved in strategic programs, supporting the EMEA Business Manager in developing our brand, by increasing awareness, credibility and interest amongst new and existing customers.
Qualification, Experience:
* 3-5 years experience in motorcycle accessories and apparel is preferred or equivalent experience
* Strong negotiation skills & ability to influence outcomes
* Strong Excel knowledge and reporting background
* Self-starter with strong analytical and organisational skills
* Ability to multitask in a fast paced and competitive environment
* Ability to quickly establish strong working relationships
* Resilient temperament to work in high pressure situations under own initiative & punctual communicator with excellent time management skills
* Adaptable to typical business change scenarios
