We are currently hiring a Marketing Manager at our Barsbüttel, Germany location!
The Marketing Manager Surface is responsible for collaborating on the design and implementation of product marketing strategies that drive awareness and sales growth for their assigned categories. This position is responsible for effectively communicating the brand and product positioning and collaborating on content to drive awareness within the RC community. In close collaboration with the Marketing Manager, Marketing Coordinator Air & Accessories as well as Product Development, they own and drive the product messaging on the brand website, digital marketing, social media platforms, packaging, at events, and in-store merchandising.
This position will also collaborate on brand content online, in social media, and in forums.
Execution of marketing efforts will be done in collaboration with the Horizon Marketing team, eCommerce, and Wholesale Sales.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Lead the transition of our European Marketing to a digital-first, insight-driven, customer-fanatic approach
2. Execute product marketing strategies that align with overall brand objectives and drive revenue growth.
3. Develop and execute product launch plans, including coordinating product demos, collateral development, and sales training.
4. Create post-launch product campaigns and journeys to create ongoing excitement around the product and drive accessory sales.
5. Deliver content to ensure the optimal messaging and online content to support the product throughout its lifecycle.
6. Monitor and report on product performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
7. Bring enthusiasm and excitement to customers through online and in person events and interactions.
8. Research customer feedback on product and brand, including conducting consumer surveys and creating and implementing action plans from that data.
9. Represent the brand at tradeshow/consumer events and in product videos.
10. Manage social media channels and engagement in other key online communities.
11. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth of our brands.
12. Collaborate with product development, marketing, and eCommerce teams in the US to define product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new and existing products in your category.
Education and/or Experience
13. Remote controlled product background in Surface category is a plus
14. Deep understanding of product marketing strategies and positioning
15. Strong analytical skills and experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
16. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
17. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively in a team environment.
18. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
19. Experience with product launch planning and execution.
20. Fluent in English. German and/ or French language skills are a plus.
