Hauptaufgaben
Leads four to five Supply Clerks of various grades C-4a/GS-5 and military eqivalent, performing various duties related to Soldier customer support, to maintenance of property accountability records, and processing of supply requisitions and other documents.
Assures an even flow and distribution of work, the expeditious handling of priority transactions or documents and the meeting of schedules and deadlines Gives technical direction to subordinates and assists them in processing unusual transactions. Reviews work in progress or upon completion to assess the accuracy of work completed. Rejects or amends work not meeting standards, maintains records of work accomplishments and time expended; and prepares reports. Advises employees of performance requirements of their positions and advises supervisor of any individual employee problems in meeting these requirements. Informally recommends personnel actions, e.g., promotions, recognition of outstanding performance, and disciplinary actions. Resolves simple informal complaints of employees and refers others to supervisor. Trains newly assigned personnel and conducts cross training within the activity.
Coordinates and participates in supply transactions requiring participation of all sections within the Central Issue Facility, Soldier clothing records, E-Orders, Lateral transfers, and turn in documents. Advises and assists Soldiers in matters concerning interpretation of regulations and directives relating relating to their Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE). Advises on improvements, simplification and possible savings in supply matters. Makes studies of matters of particular interest of the Property Book Officer, points. out potential problem areas and recommends possible solution. Coordinates warehousing activities with supply and property control requirements. Participates in inventories as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-05:
E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III and above: No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled.
*Office automation skills required.
*Applicant must be in the possession of a valid driver's license class B and must be able to obtain/maintain a military motor vehicle operator's license.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency Level B2 and German Language Proficiency Level B2 required.

This is a temporary full-time (38.5 hrs. /week) position until final closure of Central Issue Facility (CIF), not to exceed 30 September 2026.
* Occasionally temporary duty travel (TDY) required. (5%)
* Heavy lifting up to 20 lbs. required.
