Senior Vaccines Market Lead/ Vaccines Market Lead - Europe
Locations – GSK HQ, Munich Germany and Wavre Belgium.

Vaccines Market Lead (VML) is the commercial contact point between local operating companies (LOCs) and Vaccines global strategy organization (GPS). They will work with selected EU LOCs to translate Global Brand strategy to local Business Plans that answer customers’ needs and create competitive edge, while delivering the Vaccines portfolio turnover and profit in the Financial Plan period.
VML role model’s enterprise thinking and teamwork. They build a strong trusted network across GPS Vaccines, LOCs and Europe Region to facilitate partnership and deploy required operational market support. Key cross-functional partners include regional medical, market access, communications & government affairs and supply chain teams.
VML “gets things done” ensuring business opportunities are captured and performance risks flagged early for mitigation. They will also be accountable for defining and leading regional initiatives to unlock Vaccines growth potential within Europe.
The Senior Vaccines Market Lead is the commercial contact point between key LOCs and GPS Vaccines. They will work with major EU markets to translate Global Brand strategy to local Business Plans and lead profitable growth of the Vaccines portfolio in the Financial Plan period.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Work with LOCs to optimize vaccines portfolio financial performance including resource optimization.
* Review LOC financial plans and ensure plan assumptions are solid and clearly documented and that LOC Vaccines risk & opportunity profile is balanced.
* Troubleshoot issues for LOCs when not satisfactorily handled by standard processes.
* Source regional/global resources to ensure delivery of region strategic and financial priorities.
* In collaboration with regional supply chain team monitor LOCs forecasting quality and ensure continuity of supply while avoiding write off risks.
* Support vaccines capability building and talent management in LOCs.
* Engage with Senior Management in the LOCs to support commercial execution, launch planning and share learnings from other markets.
* Work closely with Global Product Strategy teams to provide regional high quality customer insights (patients and HCPs) to feed into the brand strategy
* Ensure brand global deliverables are optimized by ensuring quick adaptation and implementation within key markets, and that the effectiveness is measured accordingly.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* University degree in Economics/Business Administration/Science/Pharmacy or related.
* Considerable pharmaceutical industry experiences working across LOC’s or other relevant work experience within healthcare sector.
* Demonstrated experience in at least four of the following five areas:
1) BU Leadership 2) Marketing (incl. launches) 3) Sales 4) Market Access/Tendering/Pricing 5) Vaccines
* Proven ability to work across matrices and functions, influence & negotiate at different levels of the organization.
* Ability to perform at both long-term strategic and shorter-term operational levels.
* Highly developed interpersonal networking and communication skills at all levels in the organisation.
* Demonstrated business acumen and mature leadership skills.
* Experience with internal business/economic/financial processes and able to construct business proposals and implementation plans.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* University master’s degree or higher in Economics/Business. Administration/Science/Pharmacy or related.
* Able to learn and develop by confronting difference (objectives, cultures, etc),
* Customer focused.
* Change management skills.
