Job Summary: The Service Center Manager is responsible for overseeing all Service Center operations/ activities and to coordinate the interactions between all departments using the facility. This includes Warehouse and Logistic, Repair and Test Center, Training and Marketing Area but also the office and outer space. This role plays a key role in ensuring a secure, efficient and well-organized functioning of the Service Center. 1. Health and Safety ● Ensuring a safe work environment of the whole place. ● Cooperate with H&S team for identifying risks and initiating countermeasures. ● Enforce health and safety policies and procedures for local employees, visitors from other offices and guests/ customers. ● Organize and conduct trainings for local employees for firefighting, first aid, general, electrical and warehouse safety 2. Service Center Operations ● Manage, coordinate and support all activities within the Service Center. ● Ensure onboarding process for new colleagues in OBS, ● Instruct and guide Sungrow internal visitors and guests, ● Be the point of contact for Landlord, suppliers, insurance(s) and local authorities for facility management, repairs, Power supply, operation and rebuilding. ● Support purchasing processes related to local operations. ● Oversee the maintenance and repair of Service Center equipment and facilities. ● Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition. ● Cooperate and implement a control mechanism or procedures to ensure high quality standards for the work environment and product storage and handling. ● Address quality issues and discrepancies and initiate countermeasures supported or reported from Quality, H&S and local employees. ● In cooperation with other departments continuously seek opportunities to improve Service Center processes and productivity. ● Implement efficiency-enhancing measures and best practices. ● Supervise and support team leaders with the Service Center staff in view of cooperations and smooth processes and following safety regulations and processes. ● Assign tasks and monitor the execution of those and follow up accordingly 3. Reporting: ● Reports to European Service Management ● Prepare regular monthly reports of Service Center activities and findings, accidents and general performance for management. ● Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). Your profile All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have: Technical (Electric/ Mechatronic) or Economical (Business Administration or Industrial Engineering) education with a Bachelor or Master degree or similar. Proven experience in Service Center management or a compareable role Experience in leadership with and without personal responsibility Knowledge in health and safety regulations. Experience, working in an international environment and leading/ guiding different cultures. Fluent in German and English, capable to communicate verbally and in writing. Familiar with inventory management and control. Strong ownership sense and organizational skills, also to develop new processes.
