Area:In the HUB of Uruguay, we have the Financial Reporting area, which is responsible for ensuring that financial statements are completed appropriately, in compliance with local and international regulations. Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are prepared, collaborating with Local Finance, Controlling, and the parent company. At the end of the month, all information is gathered from the SAP System modules, and then we report our Financial and Operational versions in our official system.Main Objective of the Position:Support BASF's divisions in compliance related matters and offer modern solutions tailored to the needs of the business while ensuring a high level of customer orientation with cooperative, efficient and future-oriented services.Main Tasks:Being responsible for providing legal & compliance services related to local or international standard legal, compliance and IP inquiries based on templates and/or playbooks.Being responsible for preparing, reviewing, editing, negotiating and commenting on confidentiality sales and purchase agreements and other standard contract types on the basis of playbooks and defined negotiation limits, as well as in cooperation with the legal and patent departments.Ensure contract-related review and approval processes as well as legal contract management of existing contracts, the creation and maintenance of standard contract templates and and knowledge sharing.Provide support in the field of intellectual property law on IP law issues and processes, in compliance reviews (including but not limited to conducting compliance due diligence) and legal research, as well as in ad-hoc legal consulting relating to other contract types.Have direct interactions with our global legal, compliance and business departments relative to standard contracts and support requests.Requirements:Education: Degree in law or a comparable course of study related to business law.Working Experience: Minimum of 2 - Maximum of 5.Language Skills: Advanced English, capability in another European language (French, Italian, etc.) is valued.Technical Skills: Experience in the legal sector or compliance sector or commercial contract management, user knowledge of legal databases and standard IT applications.Soft Skills: Good communication skills to maintain constant contact with clients/stakeholders as well as other areas of the Hub and BASF.What We Offer:Living BASF means being part of a culture that focuses on people and their professional and personal growth.
