1. Collaborates with cross-functional colleagues to ensure all category sourcing activities are aligned to an agreed set of goals and priorities
2. Establishes category plans and priorities regionally and ensures alignment with divisional business priorities
How will you get here?
3. Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical field or equivalent combination of experience and education. Master’s Degree is preferred
4. Minimum of 7 years procurement/sourcing experience in mid to large multinational companies, with strong category/business engagement experience
5. Business sense – knows how to assess market/business requirements dynamics and build agreements that yield meaningful business value
6. Influences without authority to empower and lead a cross-functional team in multiple geographies.
7. Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred
8. Ability to travel 25 to 50%
