Sales Director (m/f/d) – Central Europe Location: Germany - Home based, Munich Time Type: Full time Posted on: 2 days ago This is your new job: Leading Central European team of direct reports, including employee development and hiring of new employees. This includes motivating, supporting, and coaching team members. Managing team according to aligned Sales Strategy & Plan, e.g., tracking key performance indicators (revenue, DIT, etc.) and agreed goals (e.g., account-specific milestones, company strategy) and timely initiating mitigation actions if necessary. Manage and engage all relevant management stakeholders (customer and Nexperia) to identify, cultivate, and convert the new business opportunity pipeline (short-, mid- and long-term). Consolidated identification of A-gaps (portfolio white spots), B-Gaps (qualification of existing portfolio) and alignment with Nexperia organization. Achieving revenue targets, including monitoring and initiating close-the-gap actions (C-gap). Drive demand creation in CE region, run the own sub-region as Regional Sales Manager when it comes to key customers and key Distribution branch offices. Developing and executing global business strategies: Identifying (current & future) opportunities for Nexperia. Tailor the Nexperia Value Propositions specifically for your customers to become the #1 choice at the customer for our portfolio (“trusted advisor”). Understanding formal & informal hierarchy, identifying decision makers at customer and establishing and developing suitable relationship strategies to improve Nexperia’s position. Representing and conveying the customer needs internally and ensuring adequate priorities are set to execute against strategy. Gathering and communicating market/competitor information into the organization. Consolidating the above in a Customer Business Plan clearly communicating expectations and requirements towards Nexperia to meet business targets. Key stakeholders: Daily interaction with technical and commercial community of your customer as well as preparation and execution of regular technical workshops with customers. This is you: University degree in electrical engineering or business studies with solid technical affinity. Minimum 10 years sales experience in the semiconductor or automotive industry. Leadership experience and expertise to manage a cross-functional and multicultural team. Solid experience to manage commodity business and to promote power-related products (DI, DW). Detailed business understanding of Industrial applications, additional segment knowledge in Automotive and Consumer is a plus. Entrepreneurial thinking, result-oriented, customer-focused on key accounts and Mass Market accounts. Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English. Other languages are a plus.
