We are seeking a talented and motivated developer with a strong IT background to join our dynamic Luxembourg-based team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills in the exciting field of digital humanities, elevating our project to new levels of sustainability and scalability. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enriching our existing application and creating interfaces that empower our editorial team.
Your role
* Design and implement intuitive dashboard views for data visualization and management
* Establish and maintain a robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
* Develop cutting-edge software applications using modern programming languages
* Ensure our software meets the highest standards of performance and quality
* Troubleshoot and debug software issues efficiently
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems
* Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our open-source platform
* Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
Your profile
* Bachelor's / Master degree in Computer Science, Digital Humanities, or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in software development
* Proficiency in modern programming languages, particularly Python
* Knowledge of web frameworks, especially React
* Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and version control (GitHub)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Communication skills in English
