Job Description Overview The Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing will strategically lead both sales and marketing functions for Sofitel Luxembourg Europe and Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal. This role will have a primary focus on revenue growth, guest engagement, and brand visibility, directing all sales strategies and activities to optimize occupancy, revenue, and market share. Collaborating with central sales support teams and local marketing functions, the Cluster Director will be instrumental in driving initiatives that elevate the hotels luxury positioning, expand brand reach, and foster an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Global: SMDL expenses : Manage the sales & e commerce, marketing, distribution & loyalty budget, ensuring a cost effective allocation that maximizes return on investment and aligns with Sofitel guidelines. Market Analysis : Monitor hospitality trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to proactively adapt strategies and capitalize on emerging sales and marketing opportunities. Team Development : Lead and mentor the sales & marketing team, providing coaching and support and control to help them meet targets and drive overall hotel revenue & image. Foster a culture of excellence and motivation within the whole team. Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth Sales Leadership & Pro activity : Develop and implement a dynamic sales strategy that drives revenue for rooms, dining, and events across both hotels. Set and achieve revenue targets, focusing on maximizing market share in the luxury segment. Account Management : Build and maintain relationships with key MICE, corporate and leisure accounts, securing new leads to ensure consistent business & reach the sales target. Sales Reporting and Analysis : Track sales performance through regular reporting, monitoring KPIs, and analysing trends to refine strategies and capitalize on new opportunities.
