THE ROLE & THE TEAM The SAP Test Management Team is the gatekeeper of quality, overseeing that changes and enhancements to the SAP landscape are thoroughly tested and validated. As SAP Test Manager, you become part of this team to play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of SAP processes through effective test management, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and technical proficiency. As SAP Test Manager, you are responsible for the complete testing lifecycle of business processes within the SAP environment according to the testing frameworks & methodologies. This role involves designing, implementing and adjusting effective testing strategies, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring that all testing outcomes align with defined business objectives and customer needs and providing sufficient reporting. Develop and oversee test plans, cases, and schedules, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and drive effective test planning. Mentor a team of test managers, and automation experts regarding test management to promote continuous improvement within the testing function, incorporating lessons learned from previous projects and market best practices. Ensure adherence to best practices in test management, including defect tracking, risk analysis, and reporting. Act as a key point of contact for all testing activities, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards where applicable. WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF… You have extensive experience (5 years) in test management with a focus on SAP projects such as S/4HANA You are skilled in defining and implementing test strategies for large-scale SAP implementations, integrations, and upgrades. Proficiency in capacity estimation and resource planning for test management activities. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to application and business process testing and quality assurance. You possess solid knowledge of SAP modules and processes, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into testing scenarios. You have a proven track record of mentoring diverse testing teams, both manual and automated. You are proficient in using test management tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, or similar platforms. Proven ability to manage and prioritize testing backlogs, aligning with project requirements and business objectives. You excel in stakeholder communication, risk management, and delivering clear, actionable reports to executive teams. You are able to effectively communicate complex testing concepts and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders Excellent communication and presentation skills to facilitate discussions, conduct training sessions, and present test reports and findings to stakeholders.
