Tasks & responsibilities - In your new role, you will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and support of the laboratory, IT infrastructure and computer-aided devices. - You will be the key contact and contact person for all IT/OT and special device-related topics within the department as well as interface functions and drives their implementation. - Moreover, you will be familiar with the key user structures in the department and support the continuous improvement of these structures. - You will contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventive IT/OT cybersecurity measures in accordance with the specifications of the IT/OT Integration Manager in Global Development. - Additionally, you will manage the IT systems inventory, assist with non-standard IT and lab equipment procurement, and aid in developing an integrated lab IT environment. - Constant enhancement of pertinent business operations, autonomous recognition of areas for improvement, engaging actively in a culture of feedback, and initiating communication proactively. Requirements - B. Sc./Eng. in Computer Science with several years of professional experience in an IT function or comparable qualification - Advanced IT/OT expertise in theory and practice: networks, system administration, databases - Experience in SQL and SAP as well as basic understanding of ITIL processes e.g. event, problem and change management - Scientific programming skills in R, Python or MATLAB and prior experience in data processing or analysis would be a plus - On site presence is essential - Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English is required Ready to contact us?
