We are seeking a highly talented, self-motivated and analytically minded (Junior) Key Account Manager with strong and proven experience in delivering Business Intelligence and Budgeting, Planning, Forecasting solutions. The Key Account Manager will own the end-to-end experience for enterprise customers and will drive satisfaction and outcomes that lead to renewals, expansion and advocacy for Board solutions.
The customers the Key Account Manager will be responsible for will come from customers operating across a multitude of several industry sectors (professional services, retail, FMGC, and more) where significant and consistent growth is expected.
The Key Account Manager will work hand in hand with the customer to optimize the experience they have with the Board Platform.
This requires a passion for serving the customer in a professional, fair and meaningful fashion to ensure that their engagement with Board is truly exceptional. Responsibilities: Account Management: You own a portfolio of roughly 80 mid-market and SMB customers (>500 employees).
You establish yourself as a trusted advisor for your clients.
In close collaboration with our Customer Success Managers, you are the first point of contact to accelerate customers growth via a strategic high-touch approach. Renewal Management: You are actively prolonging a customer’s subscription by preparing offers, negotiating prices, and documenting all relevant insights.
Additionally, you find creative solutions to support the customers, as well as Boards’ needs long-term. Expansion Management: You are identifying upselling opportunities, raising awareness for certain products and negotiating prices.
Besides, you are able to simplify complex upsells and pitch the value of our solutions to the related stakeholders in the buying centre Risk Management: You are predicting and reducing the customer’s risk of downgrading from current products or cancelling their entire subscription by managing escalations and offering solutions.
You are confirming and following up on cancellations from customers Projects & Content: You are supporting projects, creating new processes, or improving current workflows and efficiency Good knowledge in Salesforce is desirable Experience Completed studies in economics, business administration, marketing, or a comparable course is a plus 1-3 years of experience in Account Management Partnership, Sales in SaaS or Integrated Business Planning environment Ideally, experience in CRM, ticketing or project management software (e.g.
Salesforce). Affinity for software technology, ability to act as a competent contact for customers through your solution-oriented approach You are interested in Business Planning and organizational topics, and you enjoy dealing with customers Very good knowledge in German (C2 level) and English (C1), both written and spoken Board International is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
