The job
We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our team as a Student/ Research Assistant (f/m/x) in a joint project between the UFZ and ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig.
Your tasks
1. Participation in the development of LLM-based translation tools in Python for converting KNIME into Galaxy workflows
2. Testing and validation of the developed workflow translation tools
3. Apply the translation tools to a library of pre-existing workflows
4. Collaboration with the NFDI4BIOIMAGE consortium and interact with the bioimage analysis community

Your profile
10. A strong interest in FAIR research data management, open source, open access, standardization of processes, and development and implementation of digitization strategies is required
11. Practical experience with Python and Git. Additional programming skills are a plus
12. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in an international and interdisciplinary team
