Description We are looking for an experienced professional to strengthen our product owner team for all quotation journeys and applications as well as revenue determination logics. You will be part of the 3 heads Quotation Team, which is itself part of the "Quotation & Contract Management" (QCM) division in Hapag-Lloyd’s Revenue Management. QCM focuses on the quotation and contract journeys, from offering quotations to managing them to ensure immediate booking uptake and revenue availability. We consider product classes, additional services, customer segmentation, channel strategy, and allocations, prioritizing innovation and automation for our internal and external customers. Our modules help manage customers from offer to invoicing, including quotation overview, customer and volume agreements, exception usage, and reconciliation. Innovation and automation are key to our success, making the QCM team crucial in defining our future business approach. The ideal candidate will work closely with our regional and HQ customer-facing divisions, the IT department and other teams in Revenue Management. Responsibilities Take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of new features, from conceptualization to rollout Ensure continuous improvement and optimization of quotation journeys and applications Typical agile tasks, including creating and maintaining the quotation and revenue framework product backlog Collaborate closely with the IT department to ensure technical feasibility and support implementation Be responsible for the quotation relevant web channel, APIs, and internal applications as well as up-to-date global logics for revenue calculation for bookings Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify trends and new opportunities Prepare and present documents for the Project Management Office and senior management and take responsibility for the roadmap and prioritization of the quotation product backlog Work closely with our users, especially nominated experts and other Product Owners, to ensure user satisfaction and gather feedback Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders Plan and execute the user testing and training to rollout new tools Work within a project structure to efficiently execute tasks and projects Qualifications Experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager or in a similar role Experience working with IT teams and in project management You quickly familiarize yourself with complex requirements to place and evaluate them in the bigger picture of our objectives Excellent communication and presentation skills which help you visualize and convince stakeholders (incl. senior management) about concepts and innovations in an easy-to-understand manner Strong analytical skills, creative and problem-solving abilities with the willingness to build something completely new Ability to clearly explain complex issues and make decisions Team player with a proactive and self-organized work approach Have excellent command of spoken and written English A degree in business administration, supply chain management, international management or a comparable field is a plus
