Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Full Stack Developer to join our DevSecOps team, part of our cloud ecosystem in Siemens Smart Infrastructure. This pivotal role involves contributing to the team effort to enable a fully automated release process, facilitating seamless continuous deployment. In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of topics and technologies across our end-to-end development process, including coding, security, testing, operations, documentation, compliance, monitoring, finance, and alerting. Additionally, fostering the right mindset and culture will be crucial in enabling the teams. Our goal is to eliminate all manual steps from our release process, whatever it takes!
Your Responsibilities:
1. In your new role, you will develop new products (microservices), frameworks or tools and enable integration of state-of-the-art third-party in respect to security, compliance, and quality management to achieve continuous deployment
2. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of DevSecOps practices
3. Your tasks also include building frameworks and infrastructure to help teams monitor their productivity and control their cloud and tool-related costs
4. Furthermore you will help the teams resolve issues related to our DevSecOps process, tools chain
5. You will have the chance to share your experience and learn from other team members through pair programming
6. Finally, your responsibilities also include continuously learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Your Skills and Experience:
7. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is part of your educational background
8. You have a longterm experience in developing Microservices (serverless and non-serverless) and using Git
9. Your knowledge of cloud-native software development tools includes platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
10. You have a good experience in DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure management, along with knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and scripting languages, like Python or Bash
11. A good understanding of security concepts such as threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management, is part of your skill set
12. You are expected to have an understanding of Agile methodologies, with a preference for Kanban
13. Having very good analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making is part of your abilities
14. Good communication and presentation skills are among your strenghts
15. You are willing to work in pairs with colleagues on all tasks and share your experience with them
16. It is required that you have proficiency in English, and German is nice to have
17. Finally you have a strong desire to learn and grow within the role, embracing new challenges and opportunities
