About the Role
Ribbon is seeking an Experienced Sales Specialist to drive IP and routing solutions across the EMEA region, supporting our sales team with a dedicated IP-focused approach. This overlay position will work closely with the EMEA regional sales head, providing expertise to accelerate the adoption of Ribbon’s IP networking solutions among Service Providers and large Critical Infrastructure Enterprises.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IP networking, a proven sales track record, and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives. With a deep understanding of routing, automation, and network orchestration, you will help expand Ribbon’s market presence, working directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Drive IP sales growth by identifying and developing business opportunities in the Service Provider and large Critical Infrastructure Enterprises.
* Develop targeted strategies around key market opportunities and Ribbon’s sweet spots.
* Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners, engaging at all levels, including C-level decision-makers.
* Create and present compelling proposals that address customer needs, leveraging support from Sales Engineers and other internal teams.
* Lead commercial negotiations and ensure deal profitability through contract signing.
Sales Execution & Process Management
* Own the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals and ensuring successful project handover to post-sales teams.
* Work within CRM tools to manage and track opportunities effectively.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaboration & Leadership
* Act as the IP Sales expert within the EMEA sales team, helping navigate and enable regional sales teams to succeed with Ribbon’s IP and routing solutions.
* Work closely with the product teams at HQ to align solutions with market needs.
* Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineers, post-sales, and partner organizations, to drive successful implementations.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Germany.
