What awaits you • Supportive firm culture for fulfilling your role • We do care about diversity • Prospect to develop and grow: AviAlliance is an equal opportunity employer • Exciting and varied tasks within the growing aviation / infrastructure market • Project work with a strong international focus • Short decision-making paths and a motivated, dynamic team • Open-ended contract, performance-related salary, company pension scheme and modern offices located in the Düsseldorf airport city, flexible regarding mobile work • Either company parking space or ticket for public transport (“Deutschlandticket”) Your future tasks • Support Legal & Compliance as well as M&A teams • Coordination of Legal & Compliance reporting (including statutory filing requirements like, inter alia, transparency register) • Supervision and further development of Compliance Management System and adherence thereto (together with Internal Audit) • Help driving acquisition opportunities and bid processes (e.g., coordination of due diligence, steering of external (legal) and other advisers, etc.) • Knowledge management and documentation regarding contractual agreements, new laws/developments and projects • Support in drafting legal documents and preparation of execution • Identification, implementation and operation of LegalTech solutions What we are looking for • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in reputable law firm, other transaction advisory firm or inhouse, infrastructure/private equity environment preferred • Strong analytical skills, with full proficiency of handling legal processes • Excellent commercial judgment with a creative approach to problem-solving • Proactive and service-oriented attitude, deep sense of ownership / initiative, and ability to work under pressure • Strong desire to work in an international environment • Outstanding communication skills, with ability to articulate and present facts and ideas effectively What you’ll need • Relevant degree (Bachelor of Laws/Wirtschaftsjurist) • Experience in a legal environment with excellent track record in managing legal matters and processes, in particular compliance and M&A related • Proficiency in common MS applications • Project management experience with team coordination skills and ability to meet tight deadlines • Good attention to detail and ability to present information concisely to decision-makers, complemented by overall strong communication skills • Interest in working in an international business environment and willingness to travel across the globe • Excellent English language skills, German language skills beneficial
