We are currently seeking a Project Procurement Manager (m/f/d) at our location in Kassel.
In this role, you will coordinate, consolidate, and secure the procurement activities, performance, and efficiency of Atlas retrofit projects, involving hundreds of locomotives over several years. In day-to-day operations, you will work closely with teams across the company to define and implement the project procurement strategy while considering quality and cost commitments (QCD) and more.
Your Responsibilities:
* Ensure that the project procurement strategy is shared, understood, and applied by the procurement teams and SSM.
* Collaborate with the legal department to create and publish the specific legal requirements applicable to the project.
* Manage buyers involved in the project to make a meaningful contribution to the project QCD (functional report).
* Organize procurement and kickoff meetings involving PM, SSM, and procurement.
* Define suitable processes and tools, including reporting, and ensure their application across the entire project.
* Ensure that the company’s award decisions align with the project procurement strategy and QCD requirements.
* Ensure that the QCD performance of procurement is properly reported for each subsystem and component.
