WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
1. Leading the strategic department to achieve high effectiveness and flexibility in supporting multiple projects in a matrix organization
2. Management of projects/programs medium and heavy combat and support vehicles
3. Responsibility for the platform strategy & architecture with direct reference to changing market and customer requirements
4. Execution and implementation of the defined development tasks in planned time and cost
5. Interface management between customer / program management and core engineering
6. Continuous development of tools, processes and capabilities along the entire development process
7. Implementation and follow-up of regular project/program audits including reporting with regard to quality and the definition of KPIs
8. Establishing and maintaining strategic alliances with industry partners, faculties and forums (INCOSE, GfSE, etc.) in relation to tactical vehicles and systems
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
9. Completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, aerospace or comparable
10. Several years of professional and management experience in a comparable position and in the field of vehicle technology
11. Experience in the defense, automotive, aerospace industry desirable
12. Very good understanding of development processes
13. Strong analytical and rhetorical skills
14. Fluency in written and spoken English
15. Willingness to travel
