At BioAgilytix, we are passionate about premier science and the impact it has on our world. Our team of highly experienced scientists and professionals deliver tailored services for supporting new medicine breakthroughs with best-in-class bioanalytical services. We are tirelessly committed to our customers by being solution-oriented and deadline-driven... and we are growing. Our culture is fast-paced, fun and never boring. Because we work across numerous clients and drug modalities, your career can develop rapidly. You’ll gain experience with a variety of challenges all while you enable life-changing, life-saving therapeutics to the patients who need them. We're expanding our global Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS) capabilities at our Hamburg site to support Biopharma in the development of novel therapeutics. As the lead scientific team member on site, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our LC/MS strategy—driving method development, validation (GxP), and both targeted and untargeted analysis using chromatography and mass spectrometric platforms. You'll also collaborate closely with our team of bioanalytical experts in the U.S., leveraging their insights to build a cutting-edge LC/MS function. At our organization, we're dedicated to pushing the boundaries of analytical science. This role is an opportunity to establish and expand LC/MS expertise, tackling challenges from drug discovery to clinical diagnostics. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, you'll set the foundation for breakthroughs that drive the future of healthcare. As a Senior Scientist, your day-to-day activities will include: Lead the assay development, validation, and sample analysis of biologics, proteins, peptides, ADCs, and/or biomarkers, using various techniques including chromatographic and mass spectrometric assays (LC/MS) for support of preclinical, clinical and product release studies. Experience in mass spectrometry for bioanalysis is required Plan and direct experimental design for junior staff Drive bioanalytical projects to align with client timelines Frequent communication with clients to discuss technical details and provide project updates. Write reports, author documents and prepare SOPs Statistical analysis of bioanalytical data Review of documentation Other duties, as assigned These are skills needed to be successful: Experience with development, validation and execution of chromatographic and mass spectrometric assays (LC/MS), and/or ability to perform most tasks associated with custom research planning and bench work Experience developing methods for cytotoxic payload quantitation and targeted analysis of peptides, antibodies and conjugated payloads.
