Your responsibilities
Summary of Position: Hours: (7 on 7 off schedule) Thur-Wed 6PM to 6AM This Gate Attendant will coordinate and direct the movement of trucks and freight in order to make pickups and deliveries in an efficient and timely manner. Key Accountabilities: Load monitoring and updating systems Equipment management, preventative maintenance, etc. Maintain radio and phone contact with trucks, receiving, and dispatch aid in response to any emergency needs for assistance or repairs Communicate with all drivers, customers, and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes Maintain written/computerized records and other forms of information All other duties assigned by reporting Manager/Supervisor

Minimum Requirements: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Prior experience/exposure to logistics or trucking operations Customer service background Ability to multi-task Computer and Microsoft suite experience Preferred Requirements: Dispatch experience
