We are looking for a Chief Expert Marketing Execution - Digital Solutions (m/f/d) who will lead across the business to deliver a multi-year roadmap to achieve Digital First experiences and operations for SAP. This individual will be accountable to ensure that the solutions we develop are aligned with the customer’s needs and business outcomes – ensuring we can maximize our customer lifetime value and reduce our customer acquisition cost through digital first means.
This role will report to the SVP of Customer and Digital Experiences but will be a key leader that collaborates across our Marketing Technology, Business Performance Management, Sales Operations and IT delivery teams. Successful candidate brings deep experience in translating business and customer requirements into technology needs, a robust understanding of the Adobe Experience Manager and how it needs to fit into the overall Marketing Stack, and deep knowledge of the digital needs of a SaaS based product go-to-market strategy.
What you'll do
1. Responsible for defining the business requirements across marketing and customer experience for SAP digital properties.
2. Deliver ‘one roadmap’ across the digital solutions for SAP in partnership marketing and sales leadership and IT leadership – ensure alignment with product engineering roadmaps and IT enterprise architecture roadmaps.
3. Lead the multi-year effort to migrate to AEM Cloud for the business and with deep partnership with the IT organization. Define the approach and workstreams, act as single POC and leader across the marketing organization, and orchestrate the delivery of AEM Cloud for SAP.
4. Have a constant pulse on the latest trends, a strong understanding of the martech vendor landscape, and provide insight on the latest capabilities required across our core digital architecture.
5. Support across the business to scope and define the uses cases for our digital roadmap that will have highest impact.
6. Define digital solutions across content supply chain management, web management and delivery, digital asset management, and digital event experiences.
7. Provide the right balance of business and technical leadership, helping to bridge the gap between business need and IT capability and capacity.
8. Define the governance principles and adherence for the ‘buy vs. build’ approach for our digital landscape.
9. Act as a senior subject matter exert on cloud-based infrastructure for our marketing and customer experience technologies, with strong technical leadership for AEM Cloud.
What you bring
10. Experience deploying and/or transforming from on prem AEM to AEM Cloud services.
11. 10+ years of experience in digital experience, marketing technology, Customer Data Platforms, Omni-channel Personalization, and digital signals and lead management processes.
12. Ability to manage complex organizational delivery and executive stakeholder management.
13. Ability to speak both with IT and Technical Leadership as well as Sales and Marketing Leadership.
14. Work experience within the high-tech industry and specifically SaaS based products.
