Job Description
As an Active Directory Solution Architect (m/f/diverse) you are member of a motivated, collaborative, and skilled team of Directory Services Specialists in a global environment which supports Continental Tires in maintaining and operating the Active Directory multi domain forest. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AD technologies and best practices and will be actively involved in delivery, high level design, creating and reviewing prototypes for a secure, efficient, stable and scalable AD environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and lead implementations of Directory Services designs and architecture concepts, including domain structure, site topology, forest design prioritizing security and least privileged access
2. Drive analysis, evaluation, design and implementation of new technologies related to Active Directory in Continental.
3. High level of collaboration with CyberSecurity Department on a regular basis to define and implement relevant security concepts and ensure compliance with Continental corporate standards
4. Consulting for Active Directory, Entra ID and Federation Services for internal customers in Continental.
5. Perform regular audits and health checks of the AD environment to identify and mitigate potential risks.
6. Provide technical leadership for the integration of AD systems with various applications and services.
7. Support with troubleshooting of AD related issues in cooperation with other specialists, partners, vendors and other IT teams.
8. Develop and maintain documentation for AD processes, procedures, and associated systems.
Qualifications
9. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
10. Multiple years in AD service administration in a multi-domain forest, enterprise environment with a focus on architecture and design.
11. Thorough knowledge of AD protocols and standards, Directory Services designs and solutions.
12. Ability to review designs thoroughly and make sure they meet the needs of the solution being built
13. First experience with managing and working with MS Entra ID and Red Forest
14. Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, for AD management.
15. General knowledge in Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
16. Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or CISSP are beneficial.
17. Professional working proficiency in English
18. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
19. General Knowledge of Project management and communication skills.
