Join our team as an HR Site Lead and play a pivotal role in driving organizational success as a member of the site leadership team. In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing, strategizing, and deploying appropriate Human Resources interventions to achieve our site's strategic objectives and enhance overall performance. With co-responsibility for our site's results, you'll collaborate closely with fellow leaders to ensure alignment and success across various domains.
You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in key areas such as Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), where you'll actively partner in deploying EHS strategies and ensuring safety protocols are enforced. Additionally, you'll enforce compliance and contribute to the development of quality improvement plans, while also managing departmental budgets and participating in cost reduction initiatives. Your role will involve implementing simple and robust HR processes to guarantee deadlines and organize operational activities, ensuring the performance of your teams through effective coordination and resource allocation. Furthermore, you'll contribute to the alignment of our HR strategy with business goals, shape business functional HR strategy, and adapt initiatives based on customer understanding. As a change management expert, you'll provide support and leadership in navigating organizational changes, while also coaching executives on leadership styles and ensuring the development of company leaders. Additionally, you'll highlight organizational aspects for improvement, strategically plan headcount, and facilitate solutions using HR tools and analytics. With a focus on succession planning, talent management, and corporate culture, you'll contribute to fostering employee engagement, promoting diversity and inclusion, and strengthening our corporate culture. Finally, you'll oversee remuneration and benefits strategies, ensure the delivery of key HR processes through shared services, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Be a trusted and agile HR partner to drive the Vaccines people agenda and deliver against IPTc priorities, holding a strong understanding of the Vaccines business
2. Hold an excellent understanding of our HR model to coach and develop line managers to deliver business priorities supported by local policies, processes and new ways of working
3. Develop pragmatic solutions to address complex local business issues and leveraging wider the HR Resources to support delivery
4. Diagnose and/or deliver change projects in line with the HR agenda
5. Coach leaders to increase diversity through recruitment and talent management
6. Utilise digital, data and analytics tools and processes to gain forward looking insights to diagnose issues and inform execution of the people strategy
7. Be an Inclusion and Diversity champion and a point of reference for our site
Qualifications & Skills
8. You hold at least a Master's degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification with experience in HR related disciplines, have several years of experience and a proven track record of working in an environment of change
9. You have the ability to negotiate and influence, which requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly at all levels of the organization and when dealing with business leaders. You are able to influence stakeholders at different levels within the organization
10. Excellent quality mindset: pro activity, risk analysis, teamwork, risk-based decision making
11. In-depth knowledge of legal regulations and HR procedures in Germany, including working with works councils
12. You are fluent in German and English
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
13. Experience in the Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
14. Certification or formal training in a continuous improvement methodology (such as a Six Sigma Black Belt)
15. You have the ability to act as an internal consultant (diagnosis, coaching, workshops and training facilitation)
16. You demonstrate high level of ethic and integrity
17. You have a smart mix of intelligence and sensitivity dealing with people
