We are seeking a passionate Project Manager Global Learning & Development to support the coordination of stakeholders and topics for building up our Munich Re Academy. You will play a crucial role in implementing and shaping a modern and future-oriented learning organization. You will contribute to fostering employee growth and ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive. As a key member of the Global Talent team you will be reporting to the Head of Global Learning & Leadership Development.
Your Responsibilities
1. Support managing the project of setting up an academy and support the consolidation of learning offerings on one learning platform for Munich Re, collaborating with important partners in HR and the business across regions.
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to identify and address specific learning needs across various departments and regions, ensuring that learning initiatives are tailored to meet the diverse requirements of different teams.
3. Assist in implementing the Learning Organization's learning technology, governance, and analytics setup.
4. Help in the area of employee development with a focus on globally relevant overarching skills and creating a portfolio to support employee growth and mobility.
5. Coordinate marketing and communication activities around the academy including a go-to-market and a sustain strategy.
6. Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, regularly conducting research to stay current with innovative approaches and technologies.
7. Support managing budget and financial aspects of the academy and trainings. Conduct financial analyses and reviewing expenses to confirm that the team is using funds appropriately and following the budget allowances.
Your Profile
8. University degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in global project management.
9. Relevant additional qualifications or certifications are desirable (e.g., change management, project management, trainer, learning design, instructional design).
10. Excellent project management competence and experience in steering bigger projects on a global level in a large corporation or consultancy firm.
11. Business acumen to plan for future academy and training expenses, monitor and report budget spending.
12. Previous experience in either designing a Global Corporate Learning Organization/ Academy model or driving a Corporate Academy setup with an important role is a plus.
13. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, digital learning tools, and content providers, such as LinkedIn Learning or SuccessFactors, is desirable.
14. Passionate about lifelong learning, learning ecosystems, and all people development-related topics (employee experience, learning journeys, career paths, etc.).
15. Enjoy networking, with enthusiasm and confidence in engaging with various partners at all levels of the organization.
16. Excellent communication skills in English.
