Job Description : Sales and Business Development Manager Adhesive and Composite (m/f/d) To support our Advanced Materials division, we are seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager for our adhesives and composite market. This is a permanent, full-time, home-based position, covering key markets in Central and Northern Europe and to fewer extend also Turkey. The role includes two primary responsibilities. The first is managing existing distributors and key accounts within the Composite Ski and Sports industry, providing comprehensive support in all aspects of account management. The second focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities in the industrial adhesive sector, with an emphasis on industries such as automotive, e-mobility, wind energy, and marine. This involves building relationships, acquiring and managing new customers in the assigned region. The main objective is to drive business growth by presenting and promoting our innovative adhesives portfolio to potential clients. Reporting directly to the Sales Leader Europe General Industry, this role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly contribute to and maximize sales, volumes, and profitability, fully in line with the company’s growth targets. As Sales and Business Development Manager Adhesive and Composite (m/f/d), you will: Be responsible for our ski and sports composite business and take over existing accounts in the field of composite and adhesives. Approach and build strong relationships with new and existing adhesive and composite customers and Distributor by providing sound commercial and technical support. Ensure that business opportunities are identified, qualified, and appropriately followed up within the organisation. Identify customer requirements in close collaboration with the technical team. Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales. Create, maintain, and enhance account plans with customer insights and all relevant information. Provide sales forecasts, market data, and present business cases to senior management. Collect information from the market, customers, and competitors to adapt business strategies to the changing environment. Gain market know-how and help our R&D team develop the right products for the market. Work on cross-functional projects and closely collaborate with internal departments (R&T, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Product Managers, etc.). Ensure compliance with Huntsman safety and Ethics & Compliance guidelines. Requirements : University degree, ideally in chemistry, engineering, or business administration. At least 5 years of experience in a chemical company in an international environment. Demonstrating a strong commercial mindset, e.g., respective qualifications or job experience in a commercial function. Experience and know-how in selling industrial adhesives/composites to B2B customers. Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills, with exceptional project management capability. Solid CRM and MS Office knowledge. Strong communicator, able to convey clear and compelling messages. Fluency in English and German (written and verbal) is a must; other languages are a plus.
