Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. Our People & Organization department ensures the flawless planning and execution of processes encompassing the entire employee lifecycle. This allows our company to strategically harness the competencies of our employees in fulfilling our mission and vision. This includes sub-disciplines such as recruiting, onboarding & retention, and targeted allocation of personnel across all departments. The newly established team “Benefits & Retention” is responsible for all benefit, mobility & pension related topics of PowerCo globally.
How you will CELLebrate
Global focus:
* Develop an attractive global benefit framework for PowerCo and its international locations
* Design a competitive global benefits & retention strategy according to current market trends and the people strategy to position PowerCo as an attractive employer in the battery cell business
* Manage relationships with international external service providers (i.e. benefits, pension, platforms, benchmarking tools) and act as first point of contact and support international locations on adaption of global strategies related to benefits and retention
* Develop a strategy on employee retention that supports Employer Brand and PowerCo values
Local (Germany) focus
* Design and implement an innovative benefit & retention program in alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g. compensation and tax) and external partners and act as first point of contact
* Develop internal communication formats for existing benefits (communication materials, info sessions, etc.) and drive the implementation of employee retention program, including but not limited to coordination of external parties, relevant campaigns, etc.
* Evaluate benefits program to ensure that benefits programs are fair, equitable and competitive, comply with applicable legislation and are aligned with PowerCo's strategy and objectives
* Close collaboration with internal interface partners (HR, finance/controlling, taxes, compliance, administration, payroll) for implementation and administration and coontact person for employees, works council, managers and departments on all questions relating to benefits
What you need for our CELLebration
* Proven experience in benefits and/or retention, preferably with an international focus
* Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, human resources management, finance or a comparable qualification
* Fluent English language skills
* Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing complex projects
* Excellent public speaking, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and data visualization, problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and a hands-on mindset
* Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines
What else can you bring
* German and/or Spanish language skills are an advantage
* Basic knowledge and Expertise in payroll and tax issues
