Description
The HR Services Lead is responsible for providing remote (e-mail, telephone etc.) support services offering advice and consultancy support on the interpretation of standardised HR processes and plans to employees, managers and/or the business, spanning basic pay queries, benefits and other HR transactions (for example, recruitment, graduate programmes, HR Systems and ad-hoc HR Projects). The HR Services Lead inputs into decisions on standards and procedures, actively contributes to improve processes and services enhancing the HR support given to Vodafone employees/the business. They typically report to the Senior HR Services Manager.
* The HR Services Lead provides operational support to deliver tasks in line with global processes and ensures that these are fit for purpose;
* Recommends standards and processes around which the team should operate;
* As a specialist implements global practices and best practices across the function uses best practice knowledge to continuously improve processes, services and facilitates the implementation of new services in the direction of an automation environment;
* Leads cross-functional projects, demonstrates strong communication and diplomacy skills to persuade colleagues when seeking approval of business cases to improve and change, systems processes and policy;
* Has an in depth understanding of HR processes guided by precedents and previous experience to review evaluate and prioritise tasks;
* Direct responsibility to deliver services against requirements and timelines, coordinates and delivers tasks;
* May provide informal guidance to junior staff.
