At Global Infrastructure we set the foundations for FutureFresenius by delivering state-of-the-art, standardized IT Infrastructure and Services. As Vice President / Director Central Functions (m/f/d) you will have a key leadership role in the Global Infrastructure department. You will be a peer to Technical Towers such as Network and Hosting and oversee the pool of project managers that work across all technical towers, responsibility for project portfolio management and core leadership for ITSM tool ServiceNow. This is a manager of manager role and requires experience in people management, financial management, vendor management and stakeholder management. Your assignments Leadership and Management: Oversee and manage a team of project managers working on various IT projects across the Infrastructure towers Provide strategic direction and leadership to the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform team, ServiceNow, ensuring its optimal performance and alignment with enterprise goals Lead the portfolio prioritization team to ensure effective project selection, prioritization and resource allocation in the Global Infrastructure area Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans for IT central functions, aligning with the overall business objectives Own vendor decisions and relationships Prioritize project strategy and alignment across all Infrastructure towers Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost savings, productivity and service quality Mergers and Acquisitions: Lead and manage IT-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and execute M&A activities Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units and external partners Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for IT initiatives Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for central functions and ITSM, ensuring cost-effective use of resources Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and best practices Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT operations and projects Your profile Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, managing diverse teams and complex projects Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, particularly ServiceNow Experience in portfolio management, project management and mergers and acquisitions Excellent strategic planning, analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication, leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities Fluent German and English skills are a must
