Job Description
Join our Central Sales Department as a Category Manager with a focus on Pricing & Analytics. In this pivotal role, you will drive both top-line and bottom-line growth for our 13 Bitiba shops. You will generate impactful analyses to shape and refine our pricing strategy, consistently focusing on increasing growth and revenue through continuous pricing optimization. You will work closely with the Central Pricing Team and regional sales teams at zooplus to achieve these objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of the pricing strategy for our 13 Bitiba shops, ensuring its continuous development and refinement.
* Identify and implement optimization opportunities to drive growth and profitability through targeted, market-specific pricing strategies in collaboration with the Central and regional Pricing Teams.
* Develop and improve pricing concepts, introducing innovative approaches to enhance pricing processes and quality.
* Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, effectiveness, and key KPIs to inform strategic decisions.
* Conduct regular sales and competitive pricing analyses to ensure a competitive edge in the market.
* Enhance existing tools, dashboards, and reports, as well as develop new ones, to improve price-setting quality for large-scale adjustments.
* Regularly review pricing strategies and structures to respond effectively to changing market dynamics and cost scenarios.
* Serve as a trusted partner, providing expert guidance on pricing and growth development strategies.
* Collaborate with your lead to ensure growth and margin targets are consistently met.
Qualifications
* Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a pricing role. Experience in retail or e-commerce is highly desirable.
* Skills & Expertise: Strong commercial acumen, paired with excellent analytical skills and a critical mindset. You have a passion for numbers, big data, and the ability to translate insights into pragmatic business decisions.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and the ability to quickly interpret data. Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a significant advantage.
* Pricing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pricing mechanisms within the marketing mix, along with the ability to adapt pricing strategies dynamically.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Quick and analytical problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and adaptable approach to challenges.
* Working Style: A proactive, independent, and hands-on mindset with a "can-do" attitude and strategic thinking capabilities.
* Collaboration & Communication: Strong customer focus and team orientation, with excellent communication skills to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
* Language: Fluency in English is required.
