Diese Position wird aus haushaltsrechtlichem Sondervermögen (Nonappropriated Fund) finanziert.
Hauptaufgaben
Cleans and sanitizes guest rooms, restrooms, corridors, guest laundry facilities, and all public areas which include vending area, lobbies and hallways. Dusts and polishes furniture, cabinets and mirrors. Washes woodwork, lamps and appliances. Empties ashtrays and waste baskets into larger containers, either inside or outside of the facility. Cleans windows, cobwebs and blinds. Replaces bathroom amenities such as deodorizers, cups, towels, and toiletries on a daily basis. Uses brushes, buckets, chamois, cleaning cloths and other cleaning tools and equipment. In the living quarters, makes beds and changes linen every three (3) days after initial arrival of guest. Ensures all doors and windows are locked upon departing from guestrooms and office areas and ensures all lights and electrical items are turned off when departing guestrooms. Vacuum cleans carpets and drapes. Assists in the set up and maintaining of the Continental Breakfast area. Reports work requiring repairs and other problems encountered to the Custodial Worker Leader and/or Assistant Hotel Manager. Assists facility maintenance personnel in the performance of tasks such as shampooing carpeting, sweeping and mopping floors, dusts and cleans mirrors and glass partitions located inside and outside the facility. Adjusts, cleans and replaces vacuum equipment parts, bags, brushes, rollers and other attachments on these machines. Washes and replaces window furnishings, ceiling fixtures, and room partition areas. Removes stains from a variety of surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, floors, mirrors, electrical appliances, furniture and fixtures using chemicals and cleaning solutions. Collects dirty linen and towels and replaces with fresh. Counts and bundles dirty linen. Utilizes and operates heavy duty industrial ironing machines, washers and dryers in order to maintain clean towels, linen, bedspreads, drapery, and other miscellaneous material. Folds and stores items for daily usage. Cleans and sanitized the guest and in-house laundry facilities which include washers and dryers, ventilation ducts, filters and other industrial equipment used in ironing bed linens.

E&T Level I: No experience required./Keine Berufserfahrung erforderlich
Exception: Applicants, who do not meet E&T Level I must have 1 year of experience in accommodation, catering or service facilities, in an office or store, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Ausnahme: Bewerber/innen, die nicht den E&T Level I haben, benötigen 1 Jahr Erfahrung in Beherbergungs- Gaststätten- oder Servicebetrieben, in einem Bürobetrieb, in einem Geschäft, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder in Kassierertätigkeit, usw.
